Read More	Cecelia Fern Miller Lott was born to Max Miller and Dora Young Miller on March 24, 1906, at Schuyler, and passed away on December 29, 1986, at the York General Hospital in York, at the age of 80 years, 9 months and 5 days. She was the eldest of four children in the family. Cecelia lived with her parents north wand west of Schuyler until they moved in 1918 to a farm near North Bend. She attended country school near North Bend. After completing her education in Fremont, she did housekeeping in various homes. Cecelia was employed in Fairmont in 1928, but returned home in 1929 to care for family members. On January 25, 1952, Cecelia married Floyd I. Lott of Fairmont, and to this union two children were born. They farmed in the Fairmont area until retirement in 1978, when they moved into town. Cecelia and Floyd were privileged to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in 1982. She joined the Grace Methodist Church in 1935 and was a member of the Women's Society of Christian Service, later called the United Methodist Women. She was a charter member of the Rainbow Kensington and a member of the West Blue Aid Society. In 1978, Cecelia received a special membership from the United Methodist Women. Cecelia found enjoyment in doing for her family and friends, especially baking and working in her kitchen. She shared the bounty of the garden and flowers with those around her. She was a devoted wife and mother, dedicated to her family and helping where needed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Dora Miller, and by one brother, John Miller. She is survived by her husband, Floyd, a son, Duane of Fairmont; a daughter, Darlene and her husband, Richard Janing, of Geneva; two brothers, Chaucey Miller of North Bend and Orlan and wife, Ruth Miller, of Fremont; grandchildren, Jim and Linda Lott, and Elizabeth, Michael and John Janing; nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services were conducted from the Fairmont Community Church in Fairmont on Wednesday, December 31, with the Rev. Norm Kauble officiating. Mrs. Marvin Swartz accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Roland Hall, who sang "How Great Thou Art" and "I'll Never Walk Alone." Pallbearers were Marvin Roper, Gary Roper, Dave Bristol, Don Bristol, Dale Moul and Howard Lefler. Interment was in the Fairmont Public Cemetery.
