Description	:	1921-2019 Cecelia Campbell of Twisp, Wash., peacefully passed away Sept. 24, 2019. Cecelia was born March 17, 1921, to Jack and Anna Stokes in Twisp. Cecelia married Orvan Campbell Oct. 27, 1940 and raised five kids on the Beaver Creek Ranch just a mile or so from where she was raised. Orvan worked in the Holden Mine for the first two years of marriage where their son, Chuck was born, then bought Beaver Creek Ranch, where they had son, Larry (Abril), daughters, Julie, and Lori, and Bob (Mary) Campbell. Cecelia was born March 17, 1921, to Jack and Anna Stokes in Twisp. Cecelia married Orvan Campbell Oct. 27, 1940 and raised five kids on the Beaver Creek Ranch just a mile or so from where she was raised. Orvan worked in the Holden Mine for the first two years of marriage where their son, Chuck was born, then bought Beaver Creek Ranch, where they had son, Larry (Abril), daughters, Julie, and Lori, and Bob (Mary) Campbell. Grandchildren included Bill, Brad, Todd, Debbie, Josie, Chelsi, Kimberly, Karli, and Katie Smith, and Jessica and Kelli Campbell. She had 12 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, Carson Knight, son of Kelsie Campbell Knight. She is preceded in death by son, Chuck; grandson, Bill; son-in-law, Brendt Smith; husband, Orvan Campbell, and all her siblings and parents, which where pioneers of the Methow Valley. Cecelia was an artist who loved painting, a baker of wedding cakes and apple pies where she had Grand Champion pies at the Okanogan County Fair for 20 years. She was also a 4-H leader for 20 years and inducted into the Washington State extension 4-H Hall of Fame. She was also a member of OK cattleman's and county farm bureau, the friendly neighbors club, and Omak Art Club. Her favorite time was on her horse, moving cattle and enjoyed playing pinochle. Orvan and Cecelia loved to dance, and Cecelia only complained that her anniversary was during hunting season. Graveside service is at 1 p.m., Sunday, October 27, 2019at Beaver Creek Cemetery with reception with potluck following at the Twisp Community Center.
