Description	:	Cecil E. Halleck,son of David and Tamazin Blanchard Halleck,was born April 4,1874,and died November 10,1945.He was the youngest of five children.Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Never having married,Cecil kept his home on the old Halleck homestead,four miles west of Alpha,where he was born and grew to manhood.The greater part of his active working was spent as an architect and builder.Some of the best homes in the community stand as a monument to his ability.For several years he worked at his trade in and near Postville,later returning to the old home to take up farming,until his failing... He was a member of Alpha Odd Fellow lodge No. 411,for several years.He leaves several nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Cecil Halleck was held Tuesday afternoon in the Alpha church,with Rev.
