Interment was at Greenwood Cemetery in Creighton. Pallbearers were Tom Falter, Dana Falter, Todd Falter, Randee Falter, Rod Falter and Brian Falter. Cecil Henry Falter, son of Fred J. and Amanda (Manke) Falter, was born June 5, 1916 at Creighton. He died September 25, 1992 at Lundberg Memorial Hospital in Creighton. He attended Creighton public schools and on November 11, 1943 he married Edythe Miller at Creighton. He lived in Plainview for a year, when he was in partnership with his brother, Myron, in a grocery business. He and his wife lived in Creighton, where he was employed as a meatcutter at Strobel's and Finke's grocery store. He was manager of the Council Oak Store for some time, then owned and operated the Rainbow Bar. He had been a barber at Creighton for the past 35 years. Survivors include his wife, Edythe; son and daughter-in-law, Robert F. and Jackie Falter of Cedar Rapids, IA; daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Tommy Davis of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Deborah Rose of Creighton; six grandchildren; three brothers, Myron of Plainview, Les of Tilden and Dwayne of Creighton; two sisters, Mrs. Harry (Dorothy) Lafrenz of Creighton and Mrs. Gary (Janith) Schellen of Ashland.
