Born at Hicksville on Feb. 26, 1926, he was the son of Amelia (Rohrs) and Cecil Hook. Born at Hicksville on Feb. 26, 1926, he was the son of Amelia (Rohrs) and Cecil Hook. A member of the Hicksville High School Class of 1944, he was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Hook worked in management with the Dana Corp. at Fort Wayne, Ind., retiring in 1981. On Aug. 21, 1944, he married Berniece Beltz at Fort Wayne, and she survives. Also surviving are three sons, Cecil III and Gregory, both of Hicksville, and Brent of Leo, Ind.; one daughter, Marcia Boucher of Bryan; eight grandchildren; and three sisters, Lillian Rupp of Hicksville, Arline Cox of Fort Wayne, and Viola Snyder of Grabill, Ind. Preceding him in death was a sister, Maxine Conrad. Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville, with the Rev. Fred McComb officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Hicksville. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Thursday and Friday.
