Cecil was born in Humboldt, Kansas on March 23, 1924, the son of Henry and Clara (Grounert) Stork. He attended Humboldt public schools. He served his country in the United States Navy from November 1944 until April 1946. Cecil was united in marriage to Naomi Osburn on October 31, 1943 in Humboldt, Kansas. She survives of the home. Read More	**************************** Published Dec. 30, 2009 - Chanute, KS Cecil Ray Storck, 85, of Chanute, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at the Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute, Kansas. Cecil was born in Humboldt, Kansas on March 23, 1924, the son of Henry and Clara (Grounert) Stork. He attended Humboldt public schools. He served his country in the United States Navy from November 1944 until April 1946. Cecil was united in marriage to Naomi Osburn on October 31, 1943 in Humboldt, Kansas. She survives of the home. He worked in the maintenance department for the State of Kansas. He was a member of the Boerstler-May American Legion Post #170 and the Cecil J. Meeker Post #1654, V.F.W. Along with his wife Naomi, he is survived by a daughter, Sharon Faye King, of Chanute, KS; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Viola Debler and Ella Ranabarger, both of Chanute, KS; and two brothers, Omer Storck of Tulsa, OK, and Junior Storck of Wichita, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Darrel Storck and Steven Storck; and two brothers, Leroy Storck and Harold Storck. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 1, 2010 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Chanute, KS. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Humboldt, Kansas. Memorials in his name may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church, or the American Heart Association and may be left with the funeral home. Penwell-Gabel Gibson Chapel is in charge of arrangements. **************************
