Description	:	MOORE, SC Cecil William Boiter, 86, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011, at the Regional Hospice Home. He was the son of the late Peter Ernest and Pearl Bridwell Boiter and the husband of Mildred Blackwell Boiter for over 64 years. Mr. Boiter was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and World War II and retired from Milliken. He was a lifelong member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church and a member of The Woodmen of the World for over 50 years. Survivors include his wife, Mildred B. Boiter of the home; two daughters, Judy Smith and husband Buddy of Duncan and Colette Pryor of Westview; three brothers, Herman Boiter of Duncan, Harold Boiter of Aiken, and Jodie Boiter of Spartanburg; two sisters, Brenda Duncan of Moore and Linda Roberts of Maryland; four grandchildren, Stephanie Garrett, Jarred Smith, Chad Boiter, and Tasha Pryor; and four great-grandchildren, Anna-Marie Garrett, Caleb Garrett, Katelyn Boiter, and Noah Boiter. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Boiter and Rev. Gerald Burnett officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service. Interment will be in the church cemetery with Military Rites.
