She was united in marriage February 26, 1895, at Grafton, Neb., to John W. Griffin. To this union were born eight children. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Marie, and a son, William. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. James F. Gilroy at 9 a.m., June 22, 1940, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Geneva. Interment was in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Grafton.
