Members of the family had previously been using the gun for target shooting. They report that no differences of opinion occurred and that Mrs. Holt was in good spirits. Her husband was not in the house or near the scene of the tragedy when it occurred. The children were also away from the scene of the shooting and could ascribe no motive. Born at Inchelium Mrs. Holt was 38 years of age and was born at Inchelium. Besides her husband she leaves three sisters and three brothers - Mrs. Inez Waters of Leavenworth, Mrs. Jackie Orr of Nespelem, Mrs. Hazel Bourgeau of Inchelim; Walter and Albert McClung of Keller and Jesse McClung of Brewster. A son Robert Sizemore, 18, also survives. Funeral services were held at Yarwood's Funeral Home at 10 o'clock, Wednesday morning, conducted by Rev. John Page. Burial was in the Okanoma cemetery.
