Description	:	Jackie (Lenor McClung) Orr, 100, died peacefully at home in Elmer City, Wash., on Sunday, July 1, 2012. The youngest of nine siblings, Jackie was born February 2, 1912, to Andrew Jackson (Dan) and Pauline Gillette McClung, in the town of Inchelium, Wash. Read More	Jackie (Lenor McClung) Orr, 100, died peacefully at home in Elmer City, Wash., on Sunday, July 1, 2012. The youngest of nine siblings, Jackie was born February 2, 1912, to Andrew Jackson (Dan) and Pauline Gillette McClung, in the town of Inchelium, Wash. Jackie attended school in Inchelium and spent her young years horseback riding the hills around the country with her cousins and best friend, Etta Peone Laramie. In the fall of the year her family would go to Omak by horse and wagon to work in the apple harvest. One of her most memorable times was going to Jaw Bridge, Nevada, by horse team and wagon, which took her family about a month to arrive so her dad and brothers could mine for gold in the area. One of her favorite pastimes was to dance, which she did on Saturday nights at the New Deal Hall in Nespelem along with so many others in the county. She also liked to keep her house exceptionally clean. Jackie loved to work outside tending her garden that she shared with others and working on the ranch. In 1928 Jackie married John Dobbins and they had one child, Carlie, and on August 8, 1933, she married Albert Orr and they had three children, Jim, Kay and Gail. They divorced and remarried again in 1976. She was preceded in death by her nine siblings, two husbands, two sons, and one great-grandson. She is survived by her two daughters, B. Kay Johnston, of Elmer City and Carlie S Clark of Colville; four granddaughters, nine great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. At Jackie's request cremation has taken place. Father Jake Morton will officiate at a 1 p.m., memorial graveside inurnment to take place at Nespelem Catholic Cemetery on Friday, July 13, at which time her urn will be placed next to her husband Albert Orr. Strate Funeral Home of Grand Coulee, is honored to be serving Jackie's family.
