Mrs. Struthers was born Celia Overhuls, near Topeka, Kans., in 1868. She was married on May 15, 1888, to John Struthers, who preceded her in death in 1917. They moved to Montana in 1902, locating at Grey cliff, and came to Big Timber in 1905. She was a member of the Methodist church and served as superintendent of the Sunday school for many years. She was a member of the Riverview camp of the Royal Neighbors for 47 years and was a charter member of that organization. The later years of her life were spent at the homes of her daughters, Mrs. Ray Flanagan of Absarokee and Mrs. Stanley Douglas of Spokane. Besides the two daughters mentioned above, Mrs. Struthers is survived by three other children; John of Chicago Arthur of Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs. W. H. Brown of Forks, Wash.; a sister, Mrs. Dora Brannin, and three brothers Frank, Overhuls of Chicago, Virgil of Johnstown, Colo., and Everett of Melville; also 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
