Description	:	Charlcie Oleta Tussey, 78, a lifelong resident of the Wenatchee Valley, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2005, in Central Washington Hospital. She was born August 8, 1926, to Fletcher and Betty (Hivley) Yancey, at Oxford, Arkansas where she was raised and educated. At the age of sixteen she moved with her family to Palisades where she lived until she married James W. Tussey on September 8, 1944, at Wenatchee. They continued living in Palisades for a few years before moving to Wenatchee. Charlcie loved to garden, cook and collect recipes. She always offered a listening ear and cup of coffee for her... Read More	Charlcie Oleta Tussey, 78, a lifelong resident of the Wenatchee Valley, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2005, in Central Washington Hospital. She was born August 8, 1926, to Fletcher and Betty (Hivley) Yancey, at Oxford, Arkansas where she was raised and educated. At the age of sixteen she moved with her family to Palisades where she lived until she married James W. Tussey on September 8, 1944, at Wenatchee. They continued living in Palisades for a few years before moving to Wenatchee. Charlcie loved to garden, cook and collect recipes. She always offered a listening ear and cup of coffee for her family and friends. She was a lifelong Southern Baptist. Survivors include three sons, Terry and his wife, Valerie Tussey of East Wenatchee; Don Tussey and David Tussey both of Wenatchee; two daughters, Louise and her husband, Graydon Painter of Waterville, Diana Reeves of Renton; one brother, Clayton and his wife, Jewel Yancey of Wenatchee; one sister, Betty J. Billingsley also of Wenatchee; a daughter-in-law, Sue Tussey of East Wenatchee; twenty grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Pamela; a half sister, Zelda Yancey; a brother, Horace Yancey; and a sister, Meda Mason. Funeral services will be held, 11 a.m., Friday, April 22, 2005, at Telford's Chapel of the Valley, with Pastor John Sterk officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. Viewing will be held on Thursday from noon to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
