Description	:	Although the name on Mr. Jaster's stone and in his obituary is Charles A. Jaster, it appears from all of the records that he usually went by his middle name of August. August Jaster married Lottie Wyatt on June 17, 1895, in Hancock, Illinois. In the 1900 Census for Rock Creek, Hancock County, Illinois, the couple is found with their sons Charlie, age 4, and John, age 2. Charlott's sister, Lavia N. Wyatt, age 13, was also living with them. Jaster, 81 years old died at his home, 507 South Iowa avenue, at 7 a.m. today. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Charlott Jaster; four sons, Charles, William, and Wesley of Ottumwa and John of Ottumwa route 2 and two daughters, Mrs. Alta Bergmier of Waterloo and Mrs. Elsie Mitchell of Ottumwa. The body was removed to the Johnson funeral chapel where funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Sunday. The Rev. A.D. McClure, pastor of the Pentecostal church, will officiate. Burial will be made in the Shaul cemetery.
