Woods, a brother-in-law of John and Albert Sherrick of Pennsville, died suddenly in a hotel at Wilkes-Barre, Pa., while en route to Pennsville to attend the annual dinner given at the home of Mrs. J. H. Sherrick, mother of Mrs. Woods. Woods, a brother-in-law of John and Albert Sherrick of Pennsville, died suddenly in a hotel at Wilkes-Barre, Pa., while en route to Pennsville to attend the annual dinner given at the home of Mrs. J. H. Sherrick, mother of Mrs. Woods. Preparations had been made for an exceptionally happy Christmas celebration at the home of "Mother" Sherrick, as all the family connections were expected to be in attendance. Mrs. Woods, with her only child, Mary Woods, arrived at the Sherrick home several days ago, and the father was expected to arrive yesterday morning. Instead of that there came a message of his death. The deceased was a traveling salesman, and when he reached Wilkes-Barre on Monday was feeling ill. After retiring he became so ill that a physican was summoned, but death resulted from myocarditis, an affection oof the heart, shortly after the physician had been summoned. Deceased was the son of the late Chas. and Susan Ward Woods of Philadelphia, and was 55 years old. The body was brought to Pennsville today for interment. The funeral will take place Saturday from the Sherrick home at Pennsville at 1:30 o'clock. Interment will be made at Alverton.
