He was married to Susan Raye French in California. Currently married to Jessie Bell (Sargent) Ganzevoort, being married on July 18, 1987 in Victorville, Calif He had worked at Simonsen's in Quimby as a welder for several years and prior to this had worked at High Country Salvage in Cherokee. He had been a resident of Cherokee since 1991 and before this lived in California. He was a Jehovah Witness. He enjoyed woodworking and working with automobiles. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Ernest & Ollie Tottleben, one sister Linda Bradsstreet and a nephew Daniel Frenier. He is survived by his wife Jessie of Cherokee,; one son: Brandon Dean Taylor of Cherokee; four step-sons: John Sanders and his wife Kim of Castle Rock, Colo.; Shawn David Ganzevoort of Cherokee; Jeff Scott Ganzevoort of Cherokee; Steven Ganzevoort and his wife Laureen of Sioux City; 12 grandchildren, one great grandchild, Two sisters: Janette Frenier and her friend Mike Chapman of Elmira, Calif.; Lauren Simmons and her husband Gary of Elwood, 111.; two nephews: Michael Frenier of El Mira, Calif.; Charles Christopher Simmons of Crest Hill, 111., one niece Stephanie Averhart and her husband Steve of West Palm Beach, Fla. and two grand nieces.
