White Hancock and was raised by his grandparents George and Eulah White. He married Mary L. Jones June 7, 1947 in Lancaster, Missouri.He served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of the Bloomfield Christian Church, Reed Whisler Post #78 of the American Legion in Bloomfield, VFW and DAV.He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Shelia Ann (Steve) Armstrong of Marshalltown and Cindy (Dave) Eakins of Bloomfield; four grandchildren, Lisa Zimmerman, Tammy Brown, Katie Eakins and Kevin Eakins; a great-granddaughter, Tana Jo Eakins; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers killed in World War II, Wayne and Roger Hancock; and a great-grandson.Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 16, 2006, at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. James Wakelin officiating.
