Steinhardt:- one of the youngest members of the Rosewood Shire Council,died at Marburg yes terday. He was elected as one of the representatives for. No.4 Division on April 21st on the first occasion on which he sought election.There were six aspirants for the two positions of fering in the divisions,and he headed the poll. Though he had only been on the council for a short time, hls indefatigable energy and enthusiasm for the cause of progress had made him a valued member.of the council. He was not present at the last meet-. ing of the Rosewood Shire Council on December 14,but had attended the meetings regularly prior to that. The late Cr. Stelnhardt was an ard ent Churchman,and member of the Loyal Orange Lodge, No.L25,Fernvale He had won for himself an ex tensive circe of friends, and will be greatly missed at the councll table fo his cheeriness and pleasant per sonallty as well as his contributions to debates. The funeral will move from his late residence,Marburg, to the Marburg Cemetery at 10 o'clock to-day. Father of Unice Ivy Vida Olive and Bethel.
