Description	:	Charles Fredrick Parcher. 91, of Corning, died at the Lenox Care Cener Jan. 20, 1984, five days after moving there. Befotr then he made Coming's Westite home for many years. Fred, the son of Noah and Adna (Peregne) Parcher, was born August 7, 1892 on a farm south o'Brooks, Iowa. He was baptised and joined the Christian Church at an early age. Befotr then he made Coming's Westite home for many years. Fred, the son of Noah and Adna (Peregne) Parcher, was born August 7, 1892 on a farm south o'Brooks, Iowa. He was baptised and joined the Christian Church at an early age. He moved from Brooks to Nebraska vhen he was 11 years old and on to Canada when b, was 18. He homsteaded there until moving back to Iowa in 1918. On Jan. 30, 1918, he was married in Calgary, Alberta, Canada to Beulah Brown of Nodawy, Iowa. Three children were born to this union. In 1918 he joined the U. S. Armyu and served during World War I. Most of his maned life was spent in Adams County where he was a barber for over 65 years befre retiring at the age of 82. Preceding him in death were his parents; four sisters; four brothers; his son, Leroy in 1972 and a daughter-in-Iaw, Leona Parcher, in 1968. Survivors include his wife, Beulah of Corning; a son, Dale "Andy" Parcher of Corning; a daughter, Margaret (Mrs. Max) McConnell of Corning; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Goodwin-Lindsay Funeral Home in Corning Jan. 22 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Kenneth D. Rummer officiating. Burial was in the Nodaway Cemetery.
