Description	:	OBITUARY Charles Frederick Sette died at his home 2 miles NW of Hoisington Tues. night, June 20, 1922 at the age of 77 years & 29 days of "heart failure" after a gradual decline in health. Mr. Sette was born in Pommerania, Prussia {now Germany}, May 21, 1845 & came to America with his family when he was 9 years old. They settled in Wisconsin where he grew to manhood & on Dec. 29, 1874 was united in marriage to Miss Minnie Keller. Read More	OBITUARY Charles Frederick Sette died at his home 2 miles NW of Hoisington Tues. night, June 20, 1922 at the age of 77 years & 29 days of "heart failure" after a gradual decline in health. Mr. Sette was born in Pommerania, Prussia {now Germany}, May 21, 1845 & came to America with his family when he was 9 years old. They settled in Wisconsin where he grew to manhood & on Dec. 29, 1874 was united in marriage to Miss Minnie Keller. Mr. & Mrs. Sette came to Kansas in 1876 & located 4 miles NW of Great Bend but only remained there a short time, removing to Rush County to prove up a timber claim where they lived 8 years & then located NW of Hoisington where the family has made their home for the past 35 years. Fourteen children, 10 girls & 4 boys, were born to Mr. & Mrs. Sette, 2 of whom died in infancy. He is survived by his wife, 4 sons & 8 daughters. Mr. Sette was one of the staunch & highly respected citizens of this community & a faithful member of the Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at the home Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m., conducted by Rev. Runion & the body will be laid to rest in the Hoisington Cemetery.
