Description	:	Charles Gregory Rangitsch, 77, of Laurel, passed away peacefully, from natural causes, on July 1, 2016, at the Laurel Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on Jan. 14, 1939, in Bridger, to Gregory and Elfrieda Thormahlen Rangitsch but lived most of his life in and around Anaconda In addition to being an iron worker and working on several projects around Montana, he worked at the Anaconda Smelter, and in Philipsburg at a local sawmill and Black Pine Mine. He was born on Jan. 14, 1939, in Bridger, to Gregory and Elfrieda Thormahlen Rangitsch but lived most of his life in and around Anaconda In addition to being an iron worker and working on several projects around Montana, he worked at the Anaconda Smelter, and in Philipsburg at a local sawmill and Black Pine Mine. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and sharing memories with his loved ones. Charles married Loretta Edna Adams on Sept. 30, 1958, in Anaconda. They raised four children, Eddie Rangitsch, Charlene (Jason) Morrison, Donna (Doyle) Bayer and Chalamar (Ron Phillips) Rangitsch. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, his children, his grandchildren (Travis Rangitsch, Billy Bayer and Curtis Bayer) his great-grandchild (Ashley Rangitsch), his uncle George Thormahlen, nine siblings Joseph Rangitsch, Walter (Mattie) Rangitsch, Andrew Rangitsch, Eva (Jim) Freeman, Marie Johnson, Annie (Melvin) Baker, John (Nancy) Rangitsch, Don (Mary Helen) Rangitsch and Tom (Chris) Rangitsch as well as many nephews and nieces. Charles’ smile, welcoming arms and warm heart will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m., Oct. 15, at the Anaconda Country Club.
