Description	:	Charles Hubert Williams, the son of Henry and Maggie Brenkema Williams, was born February 14, 1901 at Lawrence, Nebraska, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska on December 20, 1981, at the age of 80 years, 10 months and 6 days. His childhood was spent near Glenville and Fairfield, Nebraska. On May 15, 1930 he was united in marriage to Bess Avers at Hastings, Nebraska. Read More	Charles Hubert Williams, the son of Henry and Maggie Brenkema Williams, was born February 14, 1901 at Lawrence, Nebraska, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska on December 20, 1981, at the age of 80 years, 10 months and 6 days. His childhood was spent near Glenville and Fairfield, Nebraska. On May 15, 1930 he was united in marriage to Bess Avers at Hastings, Nebraska. In 1931 he moved to Aurora and worked as a mechanic for Titman Brothers for 9 years. He then moved to Exeter, Nebraska for one year where he worked for Clover Implement. He then moved to York, Nebraska for 2 years and was employed by York Implement Company. He then returned to Aurora and worked for Grosshans Implement Company, until opening his own machine shop in 1949. He retired in 1966. Charles was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Ralph, John, Henry, Will and Frank and 4 sisters, Katie Davis, Ann Elliott, Margaret Herndon, Josephine Pederson and his parents. Those who survive to mourn his passing are his wife Bess; one son Roger Williams of Hastings; 2 daughters Marcine DeMaranville of Omaha and Bonnie Jensen of Grand Island; 2 brothers, James Williams of Aurora and Theodore Williams of Norwalk, California; 2 sisters, Mary Fitske of Hastings and Lil Granneman of Eugene, Oregon; 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and other relatives and close friends.
