Vincent John Goeken was born on 24 Jul. 1901 in Brighton, Cassy Iowa. He died on in Boulder, Boulder County, Colorado, USA (Age: 62). 4. Baby girl Obituary Sunday evening, November 12, Chas. Goeken of Huron, South Dakota following a lingering illness of several months, peacefully passed away. He was born in Germany, May 14, 1868 and came to America with his parents at the age of two years. In 1889 he was united in marriage to Mary Agnes Conroy. To this union four children were born, Mrs. H. A. Wallace, of Huron, South Dakota, Gertrude Genevieve and Vincent John at home, whom he leaves to mourn his death; one daughter dying in infancy. He also leaves his aged father, John Goeken of Omaha, Nebraska, one brother John Goeken Jr. of Rockham, South Dakota and three sister, Mrs. Henry Grossman; and Mrs. Theo Williams of Omaha, and Mrs. Thos. Mengher of New York City. The remains arrived in Walnut Wednesday evening and were taken to the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Craney. The funeral was held Thursday morning at 10:30 at St. Patrick's Church. Mass was celebrated by Rev. Albers of Avoca and interment made in the Catholic cemetery. The brother-in-laws and one cousin served as pallbearers; they were T.J. Conroy, J.M. Craney, M.E. Murphy, J.H. Hamilton of Walnut and J.H. Kimball of Cedar Rapids and Wm. Conroy of Stuart.
