Born in Pickens County, he was a self employed business owner and of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his wife, Myrtle Roberts Reeves of the home; three daughters, Pansy Reeves Turner, Debbie Reeves McCombs, and Kelly Reeves Lomas; two sons, Marty Reeves and Kenneth Reeves; ten grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Friday, November 12, 2010 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Len Turner officiating.
