Description	:	Obituary - Charles Nelson Crouch was born in Edgar Co. Ills July 31, 1831. He came to Iowa in 1846 with his mother and brothers. In the year 1850 he went back to Ills. and was married April14, 1850 to Manerva Stricklan. To this union eleven children were born, seven of whom are living. For the last 20 years he has been living among his children, going first from one home to another, until on March 5, 1912 (sic) he died at the home of his son Andrew at the age of 79 years, 7 months and 4 days. He was buried in the St. Paul cemetery by the side of his mother, this being one of his last wishes.
