Rev. Eldon Shoemaker, minister of the church, officiated at the services. Interment was in Holyoke Memorial Park. Charles Philip White, son of William A. White and Cora Barber White, was born southeast of Holyoke in Phillips County on July 9, 1906. Philip was educated in the Phillips County schools. He and Frances A. Sines were united in marriage November 7, 1931, in Holyoke, in the old Methodist Parsonage. Philip was a lifetime member of the Holyoke United Methodist Church. He lived in the Holyoke community his entire life, farming until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, step-mother, infant sister, two brothers, Robert and Lloyd, and another sister, Josephine. He is survived by his wife, Frances; three brothers, Glenn V. White, Nebraska City, NE, Clark D. White, Lander, WY, William A. White, Carbondale; two sisters, Mary A.
