Description	:	Charles R. Faris Mr. Charles R. "Chuck" Faris, age 69, of Hanover, Indiana entered this life on March 1, 1944 in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late, Elmer Jacob and Dorothy Uebel Faris. He was raised in Hanover and was a 1962 graduate of Southwestern High School. "Chuck" Faris, age 69, of Hanover, Indiana entered this life on March 1, 1944 in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late, Elmer Jacob and Dorothy Uebel Faris. He was raised in Hanover and was a 1962 graduate of Southwestern High School. He later was a graduate of Sullivan University with a degree in business. Chuck was united in marriage on January 4, 1977 in Sumner County, Tennessee to Ruby Lawson. He was first employed in accounting with Scott Sherman CPA. He later worked in accounting at the American Electric Power Service Corporation. Chuck then worked as the assistant director of the Jefferson County Youth Shelter in Madison. He retired after serving as the office administrator with Three Springs at Englishton Park. Chuck enjoyed gardening and collecting Jim Shore and Santa Claus figurines. He enjoyed the time spent with his wife, children, grandchildren and great granddaughter Charles died Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 11:30 p.m. at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana. Chuck will be missed by his loving wife: Ruby Lawson Faris of Hanover, Indiana; his loving daughter: Kim McMahan and her husband, Fred of Canaan, Indiana; his loving son: Greg Stoner and his wife, Debbie of Hanover, Indiana; his adoring grandchildren: Timothy McMahan, Austin Ames and Brooke Stoner; his great granddaughter: Brilee McMahan; his sister: Carol Wettstein of South Bend, Indiana; his brother: Jerry Faris of Hanover, Indiana; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Jacob and Dorothy Uebel Faris; his sister, Marjorie Oliver and his brother, William Faris. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., by Bro. Ron Bruther at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Sharon Hill Cemetery near Hanover, Indiana. Friends may call Friday, March 15, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's or the Odyssey Vista Care Hospice Foundation. Cards are available at the funeral home.
