Description	:	Charles Ricenbaw was born at Port Royal, Juniata County, Penn., June 13, 1840, and died April 6, 1917, aged 76 years, 9 months and 23 days. When seven years old he moved with his parents to Berks county, Penn. In 1850 he moved with his parents to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. When the Civil War broke out he enlisted as volunteer in the 23rd Wis., Co I, as a private and was discharged at Mobile, Ala., the 4th of July, 1865. Read More	Charles Ricenbaw was born at Port Royal, Juniata County, Penn., June 13, 1840, and died April 6, 1917, aged 76 years, 9 months and 23 days. When seven years old he moved with his parents to Berks county, Penn. In 1850 he moved with his parents to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. When the Civil War broke out he enlisted as volunteer in the 23rd Wis., Co I, as a private and was discharged at Mobile, Ala., the 4th of July, 1865. He went back to Madison, Wis., and took up his old occupation as a farmer. In September 1867, he was married to Charlotte Meyer. To them were born eight children, five boys and three girls, Solomon, David, Ida Clark, James, Norman, Prudence, Ella Beaty and Joseph. All are living except David, who died when eleven months old. He leaves a wife, seven children, and one sister, Mrs. John Heim of Madison, Wisconsin. He forgives everybody that has wronged him, and he hopes those will forgive him that he has wronged, for Christ's sake, Amen. Mr. Ricenbaw was a member of the Methodist church for 35 years. He joined the Methodist church in Seward May 27, 1894, by letter and remained a faithful member of the same to the end of his life. The funeral services were conducted by his pastor, Bert L.
