Description	:	Funeral services for the late Charles S. Beuchler were held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 from the residence on Crawford street and from the First M.E. Church at 2 o'clock. Rev. F.F. Travis conducted the services. A quartet composed of Mrs. Fred A. Abel, Mrs. E.S. Foster, H.L. Weaver and Rev. F.F. Travis sang "Nearer My God to Thee", "Somewhere the Sun is Shining" and " Abide With Me". The pallbearers were Grant Lamb, I.C. Caldwell, Charles Hunt, E.C. Jordan, W.M. Landon and Frederick Rose. Charles Sherman Beuchler, son of Jonathan and Martha A. Beuchler, was born at Mineral Ridge, Feb 7, 1868 and died Nov. 4, 1920 at the Eleanor Moore County Hospital at the age of 52 years, 8 months, 17 days. He was united in marriage to Laura May Coe, March 16, 1892. He leaves to mourn his going a loving wife, one son, Verne, one daughter, Minnie, a daughter, Merle Ruth having preceded him in death, four sisters, Mrs. James Martin of Fort Dodge, Mrs. Emma Ferguson of Indianapolis, Mrs. Eva Jennings and Mrs. P.G. Peterson of Boone; two brothers, George and John, also preceded him in death. Mr. Buechler's sickness was of long duration but was not considered serious until the last two months, cancer being the cause of his demise. All that loving hands and skill could do were of no avail and an operation was considered the only chance but it resulted in his death. He was converted at the age of twelve and united with the Methodist church at Mineral Ridge. He was ready to go but his only regret was leaving his family and loved ones but they took to God to help them through the trying hours.
