Description	:	May 30,1974 Retired Coal Mine Man Heart Victim A retired coal mine operator,Charles Thomas Walls,died at 6:15a.m.May 22 at Oak Ridge Hospital two days after he observed his 80th birthday.Mr.Walls had suffered a heart attack two years ago and death was attributed to complications from the attack.He was born and reared in Morgan County and moved to Harriman Highway in Oliver Springs in the fall of 1948.He had been superintendent of several area mines.His son,Maurice Walls,operates Maurice Coal Co.and another son,Reid,is former owner of Wolf Ridge Coal Co.Both are residents of Oliver Springs.Mr.Walls was especially fond of fishing.
