Read More	s/o Timothy Killerlain $ Mary Ellen Kennedy, h/o Kathryn Delaney, f/o Mary Kathryn (Killerlain) Lange ------------------ DEATH OF CHARLES KILLERLAIN Charles Timothy Killerlain, the third oldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Killerlain, was born at Fayette, Iowa, Sept. 2, 1883. Here he grew to manhood under the guidance of his good Christian parents whose teachings and principles he never forgot. On April 1, 1913, he was united in marriage to Miss Katherine Delaney of Clermont, Iowa. He was apparently in good health until Wednesday, March 9th. At this time he has a number of teeth extracted, and during the following two days complained of feeling weak. On Saturday morning, March 12th, he sank into an unconscious condition from which he never recovered except for very short intervals, when he was able to call relatives and friends by name. He was taken to St. Francis Hospital, Waterloo, Iowa, on March 15. Here the doctors diagnosed his case as meningitis. Although young in years his earthly mission must have been fulfilled when his Maker called him to Himself on the morning of March 31, at 8:25. He died as he always desired to live, surrounded by members of his family in the consoling atmosphere of prayer and comforted by the last rites of the Catholic Church. Thus he slept peacefully away as the good sisters of the hospital with the members of his family who were present offered fervent prayers for his soul. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife and little daughter, Mary Katherine. He also leaves seven brothers and three sisters: J.E., of Wadena, Iowa; Wm. M. and J.A., of Fayette; J.D., of Wagner, S.D.; M.F., of Sterling, Colo.; L.M., of Elkader; V.A., of Denver, Colo.; Mary E., of Grand Meadow, Minn.; Alice R., of Hettinger, N.D.; and Agnes T., of Oran, Iowa; all of whom were able to be with him during his illness except M.F., of Sterling, Colo., who was unable to come. The funeral was held at St. Peter's Church, Clermont, Iowa, Saturday morning, April 2nd, at 10 o'clock. Father Hehir officiated at the Solemn Requiem High Mass, assisted by Father Toomey as deacon and Father Thiltgen as subdeacon. Interment was made in the Catholic cemetery. May God grant rest to his soul.
