Description : He was originally named "Colonel Webster" but he ran away from home when he was about 10 and changed his name to Charles.
He worked as a jeweller, but had to give that up as his eyesight went bad. Then he owned an insurance company in Topeka. He loved to hunt and fish, and owned a large property for game hunting. He was very popular, especially with the ladies, and it made front-page news when he died in a car crash near Topeka.
