Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2015, at the Sutton Cemetery with Pastor Bill Richards officiating. No visitation, cremation has taken place. Chuck was a member of 4-H as a child and enjoyed playing cards, working outside and telling jokes. He was taken from us to soon and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Carla of Sutton, NE; brothers, Jim and wife Marge Irwin of Gordon, NE; Harold Irwin of New Mexico; step-sons, Russell sterns and girlfriend Rebecca of Lincoln, NE; Travis and Beth Sterns of St. Joseph, MO; Chris and Autumn Sterns of Sutton, NE; six grandchildren, Brittani Sterns; Isaac Sterns; Valyn Sterns; Kryna Sterns; Cassie Sterns; Abby Sterns; great-grandson, Rayden Sterns; sisters-in-law, Luella Simacek of Michigan; Leeanna and husband Daniel Reed of Ong, NE; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mildred Irwin; sisters, Birdie Verdon and Judy Chapman.
