Read More	The Nelson Gazette (Nelson, NE), Thursday, May 13, 2004; pg. 4 Charles William Bennett, the son of Wayne Allen and Wilma (Snavely) Bennett, was born on April 22, 1949 at Nelson, NE. He passed away on May 7, 2004 at the Sunderman Home in Seward, NE at the age of 55 years and 15 days. Charles graduated from Superior High School with the class of 1967. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Medical Science and his Masters Degree in Theology in 1988 from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. He lived in the communities of Utica, Lincoln, Denver, Superior and Nelson. He was an advocate for the handicapped, an ordained minister of the Christian Outreach Ministries in 1988 and an avid family genealogist and historian. His father Wayne preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Diana L. Kirpatrick of Utica, NE; daughter, Marcia Bennett of Portland, OR; and foster-daughter Lana Kirts and husband Patrick of Omaha, NE. Grandchild Sutara Miller and foster grandchild, Conner Kirts. His mother Wilma of Beatrice, NE; brother, Steven Bennett of Lincoln, NE and half brother, Robert Kinzie of Deshler, NE along with a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services were held on Saturday, May 8, 2004 from the Nelson City Cemetery in Nelson, NE with Rev. Dr. Stephen Berry officiating. Interment was in the Nelson City Cemetery.
