Description	:	Wilma Irene Bennett, the daughter of Roy and Jessie (Comstock) Snavely, was born on February 21, 1925 at Nelson, Nebraska. She passed away on October 11, 2007 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 82 years, 7 months and 6 days. Wilma attended school in Nelson, Nebraska. She was united in marriage to Clifford Kinzie in 1942. She later married Wayne Bennett on December 20, 1947. Read More	Wilma Irene Bennett, the daughter of Roy and Jessie (Comstock) Snavely, was born on February 21, 1925 at Nelson, Nebraska. She passed away on October 11, 2007 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 82 years, 7 months and 6 days. Wilma attended school in Nelson, Nebraska. She was united in marriage to Clifford Kinzie in 1942. She later married Wayne Bennett on December 20, 1947. Wilma lived in the Nelson and Superior communities from 1947 until moving to Beatrice in 1969 where she was employed at Petersen Manufacturing Company in Dewitt, Nebraska, she moved to Lincoln, Nebraska in 2006 where she resided until her death. She was a member of the Firemen's Auxiliary serving as a Past President, and a member of the Baptist Church and it's Ladies Circle while living in Superior. She enjoyed reading, and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wayne on January 26, 1986, sons, Michael Kinzie and Charles Bennett and one sister, Helen Johnson. Survivors include her sons, Steve Bennett and wife Deb of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Robert Kinzie of Deshler, Nebraska; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at 10:00 AM from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home in Superior, Nebraska with David Sherwood officiating. Music was "Amazing Grace" and "In The Garden", with Stephanie Thayer as soloist and Carlita Erickson as organist. Pallbearers were Chris Cox, Bill Reimers, Bob Scrivner, Jared Bennett, Darrell Beck and Bobby Fayle. Interment was in the Nelson Cemetery at Nelson, Nebraska. Megrue-Price Funeral Home of Superior, Nebraska was in charge of the arrangements.
