Description	:	Charley Yost Funeral Held Last Sunday Last rites for Charley Yost, 59, were held Sunday afternoon in the First Methodist church in Miller with Rev. Richard Moberly officiating. Yost died Wednesday, June 7, at Hand County Memorial Hospital following an illness of several months. Burial was in the G.A.R. Cemetery. Pall bearers were Walter Johnson, Charles Droz, Harry Kenaston, john Heezen, Roy McCartney and Carol Naser. The Reck Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. The son of William and Sarah Wilson Yost, he was born December 26, 1901 in Hancock, Iowa. He spent his childhood in Iowa and came to Hand County in 1918. He was married to Hazel Campbell, December 25, 1923 and they were the parents of seven children. They made their home in South Hand county and lived there continuously until his death. He was active in the civic affairs of his township and community. He was preceded in death by his mother and three sisters. Survivor include his wife, four sons, Edwin, Wilson, and Charles all of Miller and Wesley of Gann Valley; three daughters, Charlotte McCartney, Ellensburg, Wn., Ardessa Moser, Wessington and Patricia Waters, Miller; his father, four brothers, Jerrus, William Jr., and John of Iowa, Clarence, Miller; five sisters, Goldie Murry, Idaho, Mary Haaland, Washington, Agnes McMahan, Gladys Strucland and Lillian Tanquist, Iowa and eight grandchildren.
