Description	:	Charlotte Alida ("Lottie") Lauder was the daughter of Thomas Cornelius Lauder and Margaret Louisa Morris. She married Albert William Lee, son of Andrew Thomasen Lee and Ida Oline Peterson, on December 8, 1913, in Mandan, Morton County, North Dakota. The couple had two children, namely: Thomas Albert Lee (1914-1926) and Jessie Jean (Lee) Wingire (1916-1987). She married the widower, George Washington Howe, son of William James Howe and Sarah Dobbs, ca 1919; the marriage was brief. The couple had no children together. She married Albert William Lee, son of Andrew Thomasen Lee and Ida Oline Peterson, on December 8, 1913, in Mandan, Morton County, North Dakota. The couple had two children, namely: Thomas Albert Lee (1914-1926) and Jessie Jean (Lee) Wingire (1916-1987). She married the widower, George Washington Howe, son of William James Howe and Sarah Dobbs, ca 1919; the marriage was brief. The couple had no children together. Charlotte and George were found on the 1920 Census, Jamestown, Stutsman County, North Dakota, with his four children, namely Hazel Howe, 20; George Howe, 18; Mamie Howe, 16; and Robert Howe, 13, and Charlotte's two children, [Thomas] Albert Lee, 4, and Jossie [sic-Jessie] Lee, 3. By 1925, Charlotte appeared on the North Dakota State Census, Jamestown, as "Mrs. Albert Lee"; her two children were with her. Charlotte lived next door to her brother and sister-in-law, C. C. [Clarence Clinton] and Susanna Lauder, and their family. In 1930, Jamestown, Lottie Lee, "widowed", resided with her daughter, Jessie Lee. Lottie was a bookkeeper in a grocery store. She married the widower, William Edward Jakle, son of Cornelius Jakle and Eva Gasler, in 1950; they were married until his death on August 13, 1964. THE JAMESTOWN SUN; Jamestown, Stutsman County, North Dakota; Friday, February 23, 1968; Page 2: "Mrs. Lottie Jakle Dies Here Thursday; Services Set Mrs. Lottie Jakle, 78 [sic-80], longtime resident of Jamestown, died Thursday at Central Dakota Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Eddy Funeral Chapel with Rev. Chester L. Johnson, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be made in Highland Home Cemetery. Born March 18, 1889 [sic-1887] in Wisconsin [sic-North Dakota], Mrs. Jakle was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lauder. After graduating from the State College at River Falls, Wis., she came to Mandan to teach. Her marriage to Albert Lee took place at Mandan in 1912 [sic-1913]. They lived in Mandan and Jamestown and were residing here when Mr. Lee died in 1918. She married William F. [sic-E.] Jakle here [sic] in 1950 and he died Aug. 13, 1964. Mrs. Jakle worked in Stutsman County offices here for a number of years. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Charles Wingire (Jessie), Medina; two grandchildren, Mrs. Roderick Picken (Mary), Washington, D. C., and Chris Wingire, in the Medical Department of La Mar Air Force Station, Calif.; and one brother, C. C. Lauder, Big Lake, Minn."
