Born in Germany, Jan. 1, 1845, she came to the United States at the age of seven with her parents. She was married April 7, 1863. Mr. Bardonner died in 1920. They lived in Hamilton county, Indiana, then for seven years near Prairie City, Mo., after which time they came to White county, where she had been a resident ever since. She was a member of the St. James Lutheran church of Reynolds. Surviving are six children: John C. Reynolds, businessman; Carl F. Reynolds, postmaster; Mrs. Wiese and Mrs. L. E. Erdmann, Reynolds, and Mrs. Elizabeth Pfeiffer and Mrs. Emma Heimlich, both of Lafayette. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. from the St. James Lutheran church, Rev. Herbert Petrich, pastor, and Rev. E. G. Wiese, a grandson of New Haven, officiating; burial in church cemetery. Obituary published in the Journal and Courier (Lafayette, IN), on Tuesday, March 31, 1942, pg. 9.
