Description	:	WONDERLICH - PFEIFFER A very pretty wedding took place on Sunday August 23 at 10:30 o'clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Murray, when Charlotte Wonderlich, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Art Wonderlich and Carl Pfeiffer, only son of Mrs. Alma Pfeiffer were united in marriage. Rev. H.A. Taylor of the M.E. church read the marriage lines, using the ring ceremony. Miss Olive Murray, class-mate of the bride, acted as bridesmaid and Lawrence Wonderlich, brother of the bride, acted as best man. The bride was beautifully attired in a floor length dress of salmon colored satin and white accessories. She wore a silver band in her hair and carried a bouquet of white astors and snap dragons. The bridesmaid was dressed in floor length green organdie dress and white accessories and wore a green head band with white snap dragons. The groom and best man wore dark suits. The young couple took their marriage vows before a screen banked with ferns and seasonal garden flowers. Immediately after the ceremony the wedding party journeyed to the home of the bride's parents where a delicious two course dinner was served to relatives and friends. The rooms were artiscally decorated with pink and white streamers and garden flowers. The bride's table had as a center piece the brides cake which was decorated with pink roses and two white doves. Mr. and Mrs. Pfeiffer have both lived near Silver Creek all their lives, Mrs. Pfeiffer was a graduate of the Silver Creek High School with the class of '34. She has always been popular with her school mates and took an active part in all school work. Mr. Pfeiffer has been engaged in farming west of town for some time. The young couple plan to leave Wednesday morning for Washington where he has employment. The best of good wishes go with them to their new home. They entertained their many friends at a wedding dance at the Kula Hall Tuesday evening. Silver Creek Sand, August 28, 1936
