Description	:	Boone County Democrat June 10, 1910 Mrs. Lottie Crouthamel, a well known and beloved resident of the county, passed away at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Gould in this city, at 1:00 o'clock Saturday morning, after a long and painful illness. The funeral services were held at the First M.E. church at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Hohanshelt, assisted by the Rev. Bingaman of Luther. Read More	Boone County Democrat June 10, 1910 Mrs. Lottie Crouthamel, a well known and beloved resident of the county, passed away at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Gould in this city, at 1:00 o'clock Saturday morning, after a long and painful illness. The funeral services were held at the First M.E. church at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Hohanshelt, assisted by the Rev. Bingaman of Luther. A ladies' quartette rendered several beautiful selections and six ladies from the Prairie Center Aid Society dressed in white, served as pall bearers. The remains were followed by a large cortege of sorrowing relatives and friends to their last resting place in East Linwood cemetery. Charlotte J. Gould was born in Pamelia county, New York, March 13, 1863, and was just past forty seven years old at the time of her death. February 11, 1892, she was married at Nevada, Iowa to Rematus Crouthamel, who with her aged parents, one daughter, Mrs. Joseph G Ebner, and two sons, Edwin and Sherman, survive, one son, Charles having preceded her to death; also two brothers Edwin G. Gould of Ames and Samuel Gould of Boone, mourn her untimely death. The stricken family have the earnest sympathy of the entire community in their sorrow. -------------------------------- Her first husband was Chaney/Chanie Landon/London (b~1862 WI).
