Description	:	Mrs. Charlotte Paul, 78, died in the Ida Grove hospital Tuesday morning, Feb. 22 after a four month illness with cancer. An Eastern Star prayer service will be held at Farber and Otteman Funeral home at 7:30 Friday night. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Odebolt Methodist church with the Rev. C. Dana Boggie officiating. Mrs. John Williams, Mrs. L. H. Watts and Mrs. Katherine Hix will arrange the flowers. Burial will be in the Odebolt cemetery with Verne Paul, Archie Paul, Veryl Paul, Walton Sargisson, Milton Paul, and Lyle Paul the attendants. They are all nephews of Mrs. Paul. Charlotte Mae Shatto, youngest daughter of Hannah Moyer Shatto and Johnathon Shatto was born Nov. 2, 1887 in Westside, Iowa. When she was two years of age she moved with her parents to Sabetha, Kan, where she attended public school. She returned to Odebolt when a young woman. She was married to Myron Paul of Odebolt June 27, 1906. They had five children, all of whom are living. Mrs. Paul was a past matron of Odebolt Chapter of Eastern Star, the Past Matrons club, Ingleside club, and of the Women's Society of Christian Service of the Methodist church. Survivors are her five children: Hannah Etoile, Mrs. Lawrence Uivestad of Short Hills. N. J.; Gladys Burnell, Mrs. Duward Wright of Portland, Oreg.; Arloe W. J. Paul of Greenwich, Conn.; Duane Myron Paul of Butler, N. J. and Elizabeth Jane, Mrs. Stanley Kemper of Longview, Wash. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and one brother, John Shatto of Kansas City, Mo. The family suggests that memorials be given to Mrs. Paul's favorite charity, the Iowa Children's Home in Council Bluffs.
