Description	:	Mrs. Charlotte R. Wallace Seeley, daughter of Edmund and Frances Wallace, was born in Kleg's county, parish of Greenwich, N.B., July 6, 1838 and died at her home in Creighton, Neb., May 8, 1902. In 1850 she removed with her parents to Kane county, Ill. and on September 6, 1855 she was married in Sycamore to Mr. J.L. Seeley, who lives to mourn the loss he has sustained. Read More	Mrs. Charlotte R. Wallace Seeley, daughter of Edmund and Frances Wallace, was born in Kleg's county, parish of Greenwich, N.B., July 6, 1838 and died at her home in Creighton, Neb., May 8, 1902. In 1850 she removed with her parents to Kane county, Ill. and on September 6, 1855 she was married in Sycamore to Mr. J.L. Seeley, who lives to mourn the loss he has sustained. Four children--three boys and one girl--were born of this happy union. One of the boys died at the age of five years. The other children are still living. Mr. Fred Seeley residing near Creighton and Mr. Leroy Seeley and Mrs. Lola F. Hoag being residents of Sioux City. The deceased became a Christian in childhood and in the spring of 1858 she and her husband identified themselves with the Methodist Episcopal church of which she has ever been an active and earnest member. Her parents both preceded her to the shores of the better world. She leaves a brother, Joseph Wallace, of Webster City, Iowa and two sisters, Mrs. Jane Hopkins of Cedar Falls, Iowa and Mrs. Amanda Kimball of Millerboro, this state. Her departure was peaceful. She closed her eyes upon the scenes of earth and opened them amid the beauties of the heavenly world, where through all eternity she will wear a crown in the presence of the angelic hosts. She was a faithful and affectionate wife, a kind and loving mother, ever interested in the welfare of her children and was regarded with great affection by all who knew her. Her many friends and neighbors who knew her and loved her mourn with those upon whom the blow has fallen with greater severity. The sorrowing relatives have the sincere sympathy and prayers of all God's people, who are looking forward to the time when there will be a happy reunion on the other side of the stream of death, where there will be no sorrow and no separation forever. Before she died she requested that she might be buried from the Methodist church in Creighton, that sermon might be preached by her pastor, the writer of these lines. The funeral service was conducted last Saturday afternoon in the Methodist church, the sermon being preached by the writer, from the words: "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord"--(Rev. 14:13). A large concourse of sympathizing friends assembled to pay their last respects to the deceased. The casket was almost buried beneath beautiful flowers that are symbolic of the final resurrection. The body was laid away to rest in the Creighton cemetery where it awaits the dawn of the morning when, "this corruptible must put on incorruption and when this mortal must put on immortality."
