Mrs. Harris was born in Whitmire, May 3, 1948, a daughter of Lewis M. Grady of Union and the late Dorothy Steele Grady. She was formerly employed with Milliken Co. and attended Covenant Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter: Michelle H. Austin and husband Shannon of Union; three sons: Trey Harris and wife Lisa of Nashville, TN, Michael Harris and wife Lynn of Jonesville and Mark Harris and wife Erica of Union; a sister: Ponnee Lovelace and husband Mike of Union; two brothers: Ray Grady of Houston, TX and Jerry Grady and wife Mickey of Union; eleven grandchildren: Carra, Cassidy and Caylee Austin, Cody and Jesse Harris, Brooke McDowell, Christin Harris, Carrie Messer, Joshua Morris, Connor and Cierra Harris; one great-granddaughter: Jayleigh Harris; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Harris was predeceased by a brother, Eddie Grady. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, February 5, 2012, at Covenant Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Ray Harold Belue. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jesse Harris, Cody Harris, Bryan K. Davis, Joey Littlejohn, Tommy Littlejohn, Lewis A. Grady, and Steven West.
