Read More	Graveside Services For Chester Hodge May 26 in Central City -- Chester Hodge was born in Merrick County, Nebraska, to Alexander Roscoe Hodge and Blanch Galley Hodge. Chester Hodge, 91, died Monday, November 7, 2011, at a nursing home in Ainsworth, Nebraska, where he had resided for a number of years. Graveside services will be held at the Central City, Nebraska, Cemetery on Saturday, May 26, 2012, at 10:00 AM. His brother, Elmer Hodge, retired minister of Christian Churches/Church of Christ, will officiate at the service. Mr. Hodge was born on September 11, 1920. He was a graduate of Palmer Public School and a graduate of Kearney State College. He taught in schools at Madrid, Nebraska; Maxwell, Nebraska; and Red cloud, Nebraska. Mr. Hodge was employed by the American Red Cross Association and lived in North Platte, Nebraska before moving to Red Cloud, Nebraska. He was a member of the Methodist church of Ainsworth, Nebraska. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and in particular a member of the Shriners. Mr. Hodge married Martha Napier in 1944. They had two children, Charolyn and Andrew. In 1958, Chester married Laura Huber of Madrid, Nebraska, deceased on March 26, 1988. A few years later, he married Laura Cadwalder, deceased on December 26, 2006. Survivors include his daughter, Carolyn; son, Andrew, and wife, Harriet; two sisters, Virginia Hafer of Greenfield, Ohio, and Wilma "June" Passaniti of Kettering, Ohio; two brothers, Clarence Hodge of Akron, Colorado, and Elmer Hodge (and wife Nancy) of Forsyth, Missouri; and several granddaughters, grandsons, and two step-grandchildren.
