Description	:	Died Wednesday, May 2, 2007 after a short illness. Chet was born in Molson, WA, on January 26, 1914, the son of William and Edna Nelson. He married Alverda Kerns on October 20, 1939. They farmed in the Thornton-Sunset area for many years and raised three sons, Milton, Eddie and Dennis. After retiring from the farm, Chet became well known for his woodworking. He was accomplished at everything from cabinet making to crafting wooden toys.
