Va., on February 21, 1917, the spirit of a young Christian girl took its flight from a home on earth to a home in heaven prepared by God for his redeemed. She was a daughter of S.T. Ruckman and a sister of John Ruckman. She was kind and generous and loved by her kindred and friends. She was a member of the M.E. Church. Her death was due to that dreadful disease, tuberculosis. Va., on February 21, 1917, the spirit of a young Christian girl took its flight from a home on earth to a home in heaven prepared by God for his redeemed. She was a daughter of S.T. Ruckman and a sister of John Ruckman. She was kind and generous and loved by her kindred and friends. She was a member of the M.E. Church. Her death was due to that dreadful disease, tuberculosis. Chloe knew that her hour was near; kind hands and loving friends did all and used every effort to arrest the trouble but all in vain. The funeral services were held February 23 at 11 o’clock at Central Church in Crabbottom, being conducted by Rev. Tinney, of the U.B Church. Her remains were laid to rest in the Wimer Cemetery by the side of her sister, who died a few years ago. The bereaved family have the tender sympathy of their many devoted friends who pray that God will comfort them with His love and with that sure and blessed hope our Father’s house where we shall see again the faces kept in memory and where families sundered here will be reunited beyond all pain of parting.
