Description	:	Christena was born 1854 in Dalhousie Township, Lanark County, Ontario, the daughter of Dougall McDougall and Jennie Crawford. She was married at Almonte, Lanark County, on Aug.30,1872 to Neil McFarlane. They had 7 children : John G, Jane Anne, William, Margaret, Agnes Isobel,Christena Mary & Cornelius Dougall. Christena died at McDonald's Corners, Dalhousie Township, Lanark County, on April 13, 1920 at the age of 66 years. Her husband, Neil, died July 18, 1905. However Christena's obituary says she was buried in Crawford cemetery on April 15,1920. Their son, John G. McFarlane is buried in plot 154 at Crawford cemetery. April 13th, Mrs. Neil McFarlane, aged 66 years. She was born Christena McDougall and leaves three children; Mrs. John Neil; Addie & Cornelius, of Detroit. She also leaves four sisters and two brothers; Mrs. John Craig of Sudbury; Mrs. John Blackburn of Middleville; Mrs. James Johnston; Mrs. Wm. Dunlop; and Peter McDougall of McDonald's Corners; and John McDougall of Elphin. Burial in Crawford Cemetery, April 15th.
