Description	:	Christian Kauffman Obit Christian Kauffman was born in Allsace Loraine, France January 28, 1845 and died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Chris Smith in Milford, Nebraska Thursday morning. Aug. 23 at the age of 83 years, 6 months and 25 days. At the age of 9 years he came with his parents to America and lauded in Adams County Indiana where he grew up to manhood. In November 1865 he was united in marriage to Fannie Amstutz also of Adams Co. Ind. thus living together through Joys and sorrows 62 years and 9 months. To... Read More	Christian Kauffman Obit Christian Kauffman was born in Allsace Loraine, France January 28, 1845 and died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Chris Smith in Milford, Nebraska Thursday morning. Aug. 23 at the age of 83 years, 6 months and 25 days. At the age of 9 years he came with his parents to America and lauded in Adams County Indiana where he grew up to manhood. In November 1865 he was united in marriage to Fannie Amstutz also of Adams Co. Ind. thus living together through Joys and sorrows 62 years and 9 months. To this union were born eleven children, five sons and six daughters. One son and two daughters preceded him in death. He thus leaves to mourn his departure, his bereaved companion, four sons and four daughters, 29 grandchildren 56 great grandchildren. 3 great, greatgrandchildren. Some years after his marriage, while living in Missouri he sought the Lord and found Jesus as his Savior. He was not always true to his Lord, but in his last years, in his affliction he took his refuge to God as never before, and this was ripened up for heaven. Having a longing for the last while to depart and to be with Christ. Funeral services were held at the Full Gospel Assembly Church on Saturday at 2 30 Rev S J Miller officiating.
