Description	:	Christian William Boseck II, son of Christian William Boseck I and Sophia Dorothea Wolf, was born January 18, 1844 in Mecklenburg, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany and died September 26, 1937 in Griswold, Iowa. He married Sophia Osterman. In another article of October 29, 1983, issue of the ANT stating the Boseck family roots go back to Germany where C. W. Boseck I was born in 1819. Copies of the Boseck History and their family reunions were donated to the Atlantic and Audubon libraries.Served in the Civil War Company B 42nd Indiana Infantry 1861-1865 Is listed in the Civil War Soldiers and Sailors index as Christopher Boseck with alternate names as Christian/Bosock
