She came to the United States and settled in Cedar County, Iowa. She married Joachim "Jacob" Parbs on December 24, 1885, in Clarence. The couple farmed near Urbana. She was survived by one son, Theodore (Grace) Parbs; three grandchildren; and one sister, Margaret Werling of Tipton. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one grandson and two brothers. |
