| Description | : | Christina was born in Berks County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of George and Maria Barbara Folk. (Foulk, Volck) Tradition has it that Christina helped to nurse soldiers at the end of the Revolutionary War while she was still very young. In 1786, Christina married Jacob Seachrist in St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Hanover, Pennsylvania. They had 14 children of whom 13 lived to adulthood: Michael, Catherine, Elizabeth, Lydia, David, Sarah, Nancy, Jacob, Samuel, Henry, Christian, Benjamin, and Rebecca. They had 90 grandchildren.
